Latest Arrivals Fair Trade Small Leather Animals:

These Fair Trade Animals are handmade by skilled craftsmen in India and can take up to 3 weeks to make. The animals are crafted over a wire frame that is covered in rice grass and papier mache to provide the body contours of the animals. It is then sun-dried before sheep and goats leather, a by-product of the food industry, is then stretched over the base. The animals are then hand painted and polished to form these stunning and durable life-like animals. Each one is boxed and approx 17cm (6¾") long x 12cm (4¾") high.

Welcome to another year!

Firstly our apologies for the number of "Out of Stock" items. Christmas was a very busy time for us and we are still frantically stocking up and waiting for stock from overseas.

Carhampton eMart has been steadily growing in spite of the recession for which we thank all of you, our old and our new customers.

We are not planning anything major for 2011 just a repeat of the same first class service, customer care and fair prices.

We have been talking to a card distributor of Fair Trade African cards and hope to stock them in time for Easter. We are also hoping to stock a range of Fair Trade bags and Jewellery from India.

Well, you have certainly taken to the beautiful Charlotte Bird fairy art prints! They really are a joy, we have a wide range and are able to supply the vast majority of her art. Perhaps I shouldn't mention this yet but there is a new series of prints coming from Charlotte called "Boudoir Fairies". I have had a sneak preview of a few of them and they are lovely, as soon as they are available we will be stocking them. In reply to several emails about the prints they are all hand signed and titled on the mount and the signature is printed on the picture too. They also have an embossed stamp of authenticity.

Don't forget, the majority of Charlotte's prints are also available as blank greetings cards, we have two types available the Tree Free ones from USA which have a border and the cards direct from Charlotte Bird's UK Studios which are borderless and photographic quality.

Hi,

Just finished adding a load more fun pens and pencils. Have a look in the Stationery section. Kids love these to take to school or just to do their homework with - these have stopped our kids from pinching the house pens. They only want to use their own now!

Hi,

First, Thanks to everyone who donated their old unwanted toys for the Childrens Hospices South West. We managed to fill four large cartons with toys and costumes which were transported by FedEx.

Many, many thanks to all. We are planning a similar exercise for new toys, games etc at Christmas.
